Job summary

CVR Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security Systems Specialist to design, implement, and maintain access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems in compliance with DHS, DOT, and MTSA requirements.

You will evaluate work orders, supervise contractor work, and assist the security team in ensuring company-wide regulatory programs remain compliant. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical access control and surveillance systems.
• Oversight of contract security integrators or services is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Basic project management and networking knowledge.
• Working knowledge of low voltage security systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procurement, installation, and maintenance of access control and video management systems.
• Design and review plans for access control, intrusion, video surveillance, and life safety alarms.
• Maintain and repair electronic security devices to meet regulatory requirements.
• Primary contact for physical security equipment service requests and vendor coordination.
• Respond to and track work orders; coordinate timely resolutions with vendors.
• Support security systems integration, mappings, software updates, and training.
• Assist on projects with security assessments, vendor selection, upgrades, testing, and field verification.
• Attend project meetings related to security integration and internal initiatives.
• Support contract security force management and regulatory programs (DHS, DOT, MTSA).
• Assist facility security emergency response planning and role-based activities.
• Travel as needed to support development and company needs.
• Contribute to developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures.
