Job summary

FlyLock Security Solutions is hiring an Access Control Technician to install and service access control and video systems for commercial and residential clients in the Metairie, LA area. The role requires hands-on field experience and the ability to work independently as well as with the sales team.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of security solutions experience, strong knowledge of door hardware, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in security solutions and access control.
• Experience with CCTV and door hardware is preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and writing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with sales and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, installs, and services basic and complex commercial and residential access and video systems.
• Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair of access and video systems.
• Instructs customers in operation of access and video systems.
• Responds to customer questions and requests and writes up required paperwork.
• Maintains accurate records of inspections and service calls.
