Description
STS is looking for a qualified Security Technician to help them service their new expansion of banking customers in Tampa, FL. CULTURE is everything to them so finding the right candidate who is not only technically skilled but can be customer facing as well is important to them.
The perfect candidate is someone who is looking to find a long term career with a growing company but having previous experience in Bank Security would be a huge plus! Someone who knows what STS is currently doing would be a perfect fit for them.
The second best candidates is someone who has worked on Alarm Systems, CCTV, and Electronics. COMMERCIAL LEVEL, not looking for residential alarm experience but would be interested in someone like an ADT because of their customer facing ability. These candidates need to have a want to learn a specialized skillset.
SPECIFIC TECH
ALARM SYSTEMS: DMP 734 Module based (Digital Monitoring Products), Bosch, Honeywell
CCTV: Verint IP Cameras, Digital Watchdog, Open Eye, March, Clinton
Programming would be a plus but not a requirement, they have an internal support team that can do the programming for him. Troubleshooting wise it would be nice to know some programming.
The technician will be on the service side with a 2/3 hour bubble of traveling around the technicians home address. They try to limit longer traveling but it will depend on customer needs and if they have people sick or out on leave there could be some extra travel in that case. Working hours are bank hours 9-5, M-F with the understanding that if a job is a hour away they'll need to travel before 9. Ideally the longest days would be leaving at 7 am and trying to get the tech home around 6 pm.
Have extra work that can be voluntary on weekends but won't be mandatory.

This technician will be working on a remote team from the office that is in Madison, AL.
Onboarding will look like 1 week of training at the Madison office in Alabama where the technician can meet with the VPs, Project Coordinators and Warehouse staff. They will go with a manager to some sites to get a better understanding of current skill level and what they need more training on.
Company Vehicle, Laptop and Phone. Tools and load their van up with whatever stock they need for projects. In-field training on sites close to them 4-8 weeks paired with a lead tech. They'll have an evaluation to see if they can go on their own to sites.
