Our global manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Deployment Technician to support a major labeling platform standardization project across multiple manufacturing and installation sites. You will play a key role in configuring, testing, and rolling out a standardized labeling solution that integrates SAP, labeling software, and networked printer devices.

This is a hands-on role focused on network, infrastructure, and device configuration — ensuring that each site’s labeling system is aligned to a common standard, fully operational, and ready for sustained use.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project manager and local site contacts to gather device and network details
• Configure network settings (IP addresses, network paths) for labeling devices and printers
• Install, configure, and test the labeling application per site (remote or server-based setup)
• Execute functional tests, print sample labels, and confirm operational standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, device communication, or printer configuration
• Document configurations, track deployment progress, and report status updates regularly
• Provide basic knowledge transfer and guidance to local site teams for post-deployment support

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in network configuration, device setup, and infrastructure support
• Familiarity with enterprise environments (SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus)
• Experience configuring printers, scanners, or IoT-type hardware in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Comfort working independently and managing multiple concurrent site deployments
• Solid troubleshooting skills — able to diagnose issues across system layers (network, app, hardware)
• Excellent communication — able to coordinate with remote teams and document work clearly

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Prior experience with labeling platforms or manufacturing labeling systems
• Familiarity with middleware integration (though minimal programming is required for this role)
• Background working in an enterprise-scale deployment (100+ sites or devices)
