Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 5+ years' experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience installing, maintaining and repairing access control systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA 101, NFPA 80 and IBC codes helpful.
• Valid driver's license required; ability to lift and use hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain mechanical and electronic access control systems.
• Test and program locks, doors and related hardware in accordance with plans.
• Plan and coordinate with campus stakeholders and outside vendors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of keys, locks and security devices.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure confidentiality of security systems.
