TEKsystems is hiring an Access Control & Security Systems Technician in Savannah, GA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on access control, CCTV, and security integrations across commercial projects. You will gain hands-on experience with door hardware, readers, IP cameras, and structured cabling.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in technical installation or maintenance, and a valid driver's license. Onsite, with training and career growth opportunities in a growing security field.

Responsibilities

• Install and support access control systems
• Install card readers, badge readers, and door hardware

• Pull, route, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
• Install mag locks, electric strikes, door contacts, and related hardware
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Assist with system upgrades and renovations
• Troubleshoot security and low-voltage systems in the field
• Maintain safety and workmanship standards

We're hiring an Access Control & Security Systems Technician to support commercial projects throughout the Savannah area. Previous access control experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience in cabling, electrical work, telecom, fire alarm, maintenance, or security installations are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Install and support access control systems

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, GA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
