Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license may be required by Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be needed for employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, including emergency responses.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, monitoring activity, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery vehicles and trailers, and report unauthorized access or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
