Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Verification in Ontario, CA to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitors and vehicles, and uphold site policies while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions where applicable.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• Background history may be considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials and monitoring activity.

• Conduct regular patrols around the facility and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Entry Verification in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor and vehicle activity, and help maintain orderly site operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Through visible presence, clear communication, and exceptional customer service, you will help deter incidents while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a retail distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying credentials, monitoring visitor and contractor activity, maintaining access records, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles according to site procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic, including delivery vehicles and trailers, and report unauthorized access attempts, irregularities, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the distribution facility, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
