Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Monitoring in Wilkesboro, NC. This full-time role involves monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing badge access, and documenting security activity to deter incidents and support site operations.

You will provide excellent customer service while remaining visible, with shifts including nights and weekends. Minimum 2 years of security experience and HS diploma required; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help maintain orderly access to food and beverage production areas by observing and reporting unauthorized entry, policy violations, and unusual activity.
