Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilkesboro, NC is seeking a Security Officer Access Monitoring to protect clients and monitor entry points at a food/beverage site. You will verify credentials, manage badge access, and provide courteous service.

This full-time role offers $18.25 per hour, night shifts as listed, and opportunities for training, growth, and benefits. A minimum of 2 years security experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help maintain orderly access to food and beverage production areas by observing and reporting unauthorized entry, policy violations, and unusual activity.
