Job summary

Allied Universal, Saint Johns, MI, is seeking a Security Officer Access Validation to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor access for a welcoming, controlled environment. You will provide customer service and respond to security concerns to deter incidents.

This full-time position pays $21.00 per hour with night shifts. Duties include monitoring access, maintaining records, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents per site procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials for visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate visitor, delivery, and access records; issue and collect credentials as authorized.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions or access concerns.
