Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Identity Verification in Thomson, GA to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, document security data, and deliver professional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time with daytime shifts and a pay rate of $14.00 per hour, supporting a secure workplace and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen may be required before employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and employees with access control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry by verifying IDs, credentials, appointments and entry authorization.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, driver and vehicle logs; handle access credentials.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document activities for reporting.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
