Qualifications

• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Background histories considered in a manner consistent with laws.
• As a condition of employment, drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• For driving positions, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify identification, manage visitor/contractor records, and control access to restricted areas.
• Observe inbound/outbound vehicle traffic, review documentation, report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly, notify site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular/random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking, and perimeter.

• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control access to restricted areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, review required documentation, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
