Allied Universal in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Key Control to protect client sites across tech/telecom facilities. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and assist visitors and employees with excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required, where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required; valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out access control procedures and policy.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms, documenting observations and notifying site contacts or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and access concerns per site procedures.
