Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility; verify credentials and register visitors/contractors; issue temporary badges.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations calmly and by following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area access locations, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document observations and incidents in required reports and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.
