Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Bowling Green, FL. You will manage entry points, verify access, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a utilities location.

Responsibilities include handling access credentials, assisting visitors and contractors, and providing excellent customer service while following site procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities and restricted areas by verifying credentials, managing visitor entry, and documenting access activity.
• Assist with the issuance and collection of access credentials, maintain accurate visitor and contractor records, and report access discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
