Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Access Control Security Officer in Franklin, KY to manage entry/exit, verify access, monitor activity, and provide excellent client service. You will support a welcoming environment and uphold the company’s culture of integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities include operating access-control procedures, reporting incidents, and patrolling the facility to deter unauthorized activity while representing Allied Universal professionally.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors and employees at access-control points.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials and issue visitor passes.
• Screen and direct deliveries and visitors to appropriate areas per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate security concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas and facility perimeter.
