Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Governance in Lakeland, FL to protect a food and beverage site. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience, a guard card preferred, and a high school diploma. You must pass background checks and drug screening; a driver’s license is required for driving roles only.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access by verifying credentials and directing authorized personnel.
• Observe entry points and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents, following site procedures and coordinating with management or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
