Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Monitoring in Bartow, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible, professional security presence at a chemical/petrochemical site.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling areas, and ensuring compliance with PPE and site rules. A valid Guard Card/license and a high school diploma are preferred; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and manage entry processes and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify site personnel and follow response protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter; report unusual conditions.
• Support compliance with site rules, restricted areas, and PPE requirements while maintaining a professional presence.
