Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen may be required.
• License requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access at entry points by verifying authorized visitors, vendors, deliveries, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, retail locations, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident records and provide directions to individuals entering the location.
