Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, manage visitor and vendor access, and maintain accurate access-control records for the property.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, retail locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and access-control reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
