Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer - Commercial Property Access in Augusta, GA. You will safeguard client locations by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and supporting access control at a manufacturing/industrial site.

You’ll perform routine patrols, assist with security procedures, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to site policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by enforcing site access procedures and policies.
• Monitor and control entry by verifying credentials and logging visitors.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeters.
• Maintain orderly access for employees, visitors and deliveries.
