Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal conducts a background check in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors and visitors at the utility location by following site access control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations and visitor documentation.
• Maintain access logs and issue/recover visitor badges; report access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations using established reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
