Job summary

Allied Universal in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Security Officer - Access Screener to protect clients and visitors at a financial institution. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and communicate professionally to keep the site welcoming and secure.

This full-time role offers daytime shifts and a pay rate of $21.59 per hour. You will document activity with our technology, respond to alarms and incidents, and coordinate with site leadership to deter security risks.

Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience required.
• Proficient with computer/tablet use preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) per role.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a financial services location while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, and deliveries in accordance with access-control and prohibited-item procedures.
• Verify identification, manage visitor entry requirements, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site emergency protocols.
• Maintain accurate screening, visitor, and incident documentation and promptly report concerns to site leadership.
