Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Screening Equipment Specialist in Lewisville, TX to safeguard clients across industries by screening visitors and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns. The role emphasizes professional presence, clear communication, and customer focus to deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $19.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Screen individuals, packages, materials, and property entering and leaving the location in accordance with established screening procedures and client requirements.
• Operate screening equipment and follow established protocols to identify prohibited or unauthorized items, escalating findings to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports for screening activity, visitor access, incidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter as directed.
