Job summary

CenCore is seeking an Access Control Officer for on-site, full-time duties in a high-security environment. The role involves verifying credentials, patrolling restricted areas, and ensuring secure site operations while delivering professional customer service to employees and visitors.

The position requires eligibility for TS/SCI clearance and a Full Scope polygraph; CenCore will sponsor for selected candidates. A 24/7 shift pattern is expected, with paid training and security processing steps.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to complete Full Background Investigation and security processing for TS/SCI.
• Willingness to take and complete a Full Scope polygraph.
• U.S. citizenship; valid U.S. Passport.
• Valid state driver`s license in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Control employee and visitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and authorizations.
• Prevent unauthorized entry and removal of prohibited or restricted items.
• Patrol assigned areas to deter, detect, and report security concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity and maintain surveillance; report issues promptly.
• Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining security protocols.
• Apply access control procedures accurately during each shift.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions.
