Job summary

CenCore Group is seeking a dedicated Access Control Officer (ACO) to protect personnel and facilities. You will manage access control, visitor processing, credentialing, and security monitoring across designated posts and centers in a high-security environment.

The role requires TS clearance with polygraph, TS/SCI as needed, and U.S. citizenship. Expect rotating shifts and strong emphasis on accuracy, professionalism, and customer service within government contracting settings.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Polygraph.
• Must possess and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph when required by the Government facility or position.
• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license when required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Professional demeanor and strong customer-service skills within a high-security environment.
• Ability to follow detailed Post Orders, SOPs, and security procedures.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to multitask and maintain situational awareness.
• Ability to use computers and security systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control access of employees, contractors, visitors, and others to restricted areas.
• Verify badges, credentials, access authorization, and identification before access is granted.
• Operate/monitor physical and electronic security systems (CCTV, alarms, access controls).
• Process visitors, credentialing actions, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor for security incidents and report/escalate as required.
• Support Visitor Control Center and screening operations as needed.
• Maintain security documentation and logs with accuracy.
