As a Security Officer Access Control in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients, manage visitor entry, verify credentials, and monitor access points with professional customer service.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour. You will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and maintain logs with a people-first approach.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, talent, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor documentation in accordance with established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and access-related logs; issue and collect access credentials as authorized.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, lobby areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
