Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Access Control in WEST POINT, VA. You will manage entry points, verify badges, and assist employees and guests while using computer systems to document activity and respond to incidents.

The role emphasizes customer service, monitoring access, and maintaining a secure, welcoming environment on site with flexible day-time scheduling.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, authorize entry and maintain visitor/contractor access records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner with proper notifications.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and documenting observations for leadership.
