Job summary

Next Level Technician in Austin, TX seeks a technician specializing in low voltage, CCTV, and access control systems. You will install, troubleshoot, and service CCTV cameras and access control devices, read blueprints, and support on-site projects across commercial sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of CCTV/access control experience, can pull CAT6, and travel as needed. Weekly pay and benefits accompany a growing field team with national reach.

Low Voltage Access Control/CCTV Technician – Security Systems – Austin, TX

Earn $20–$27/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.

Responsibilities:

• Pull and terminate CAT6 cabling
• Install, troubleshoot, and service CCTV camera systems
• Install access control devices including readers, door contacts, locks, and related hardware
• Pull and terminate access control cable
• Install door hardware such as mag locks, electric strikes, and other access control devices
• Read and interpret access control, CCTV, and low voltage plans
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
• Work safely on ladders and lifts as needed
• Travel to Temple and Waco for day trips as project needs require
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial low voltage, access control, or CCTV installation experience
• Hands-on experience installing access control devices such as readers, contacts, and locks
• Experience pulling and terminating CAT6 and access control cable
• CCTV/camera installation experience
• Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints
• Working knowledge of telecom, data, and low voltage systems
• Programming or commissioning experience is a plus
• Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Must possess basic hand tools and required PPE
• Willingness to travel to Temple and Waco for the day as needed
