Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking an Access Center Representative to serve as the primary scheduler for medical and dental services. You will verify insurance, document appointment reasons, and support patients across all ages, ensuring a smooth experience.

Responsibilities include scheduling, registration, referral coordination, and reminder calls, while collaborating with staff to optimize templates and processes. This role supports a diverse patient population in the Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certification in medical insurance carriers, patient scheduling, or medical office specialist preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service or patient relations experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in automated patient scheduling systems.
• Fluent in Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.

This position ensures a seamless patient experience by managing appointments, verifying insurance, and providing essential support to our diverse patient population.

What You Will Do
