Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Acceptance Test Technician for the Glenolden, PA location. This 1st shift role (7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Mon–Fri) focuses on testing products for ATP and drawing compliance, recording test data, and maintaining accurate records.

You will perform preliminary troubleshooting, assemble components per drawings, prioritize tasks for on-time dispatch, and pursue continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency according to 5S+ standards.

Qualifications

• Understand basic pressure theory.
• Knowledge of high and low pressure test vessels and safety precautions.
• Proper use of Mil-Spec oils and gasses.

Responsibilities

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:The Acceptance Test Technician is responsible for testing products for compliance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and product drawing within the guidelines of internal and customer documents.In this role, you will:• Utilize test fixtures and test equipment to verify product compliance to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) / drawings and maintain accurate ATP records• Complete all required documentation such as test data sheets, time sheets, and routers• Perform preliminary troubleshooting and diagnose common failure modes when test failures occur.• Works from work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble mechanical components.• Prioritize work based on production dispatch• Monitor workload and request assistance from leader when necessary to meet customer demand• Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.• Maintain an organized and clean are per 5S+ standardsQualifications:Required (Basic) Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institutionMinimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical environment.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
