Eaton’s Mission Systems Division is seeking a Senior Support Tech I for the Orchard Park, NY facility. This first-shift role supports manufacturing of springs and lapping of parts to be assembled into aerospace products.

The hourly rate ranges from $25.88 to $27.17, with a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shift. The position requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing routine maintenance, and using mechanical systems, measuring equipment, and ERP/Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 4 years manufacturing experience or 6 years combined manufacturing & Military experience.
• Proficient with various hand tools, measuring tools, and manufacturing equipment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration status; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT; no relocation benefit; within 50 miles of Orchard Park, NY.

Responsibilities

• Use/evaluate mechanical systems, common tools and measuring equipment.
• Independently perform low and moderate complexity manufacturing operations following written instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain equipment required for manufacturing processes.
• Possess basic experience with ERP systems and standard Microsoft applications.

Technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance, collaborating with team members, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.In this function you will:• Be able to use/evaluate mechanical systems, common tools and measuring equipment.• Independently perform low and moderate complexity manufacturing operations following written instructions.• Be able to setup, operate, and maintain equipment required for use in manufacturing processes.• Have a working experience with special process manufacturing systems, and able to troubleshoot moderate issues without supervision• Identify and communicate troubleshooting instructions/process aid opportunities• Have basic experience with ERP systems and standard Microsoft application• Be able to read and interpret drawingsQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution• 4 years of relevant manufacturing/mechanical experience or 6 years combined manufacturing & Military experience• Proficient various hand tools, measuring tools, and manufacturing equipment.• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
