Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. seeks an Acceptable Knowledge Expert in Idaho Falls, ID to support the AK Organization within the Contact-Handled Transuranic Programs Department.

You will extract, analyze, and document AK information from multiple databases to support investigations and waste characterization, assisting with audits and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong SQL, Excel, and reporting skills, with collaboration across DOE personnel and internal teams, and the

Qualifications

• Experience performing data analysis across multiple data sources.
• Proficient in SQL (T-SQL/Oracle) or equivalent.
• Strong Excel, Access, and Word skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to collaborate across teams.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run and create SQL scripts to extract required information from databases.
• Clean, format, manage, and analyze data for department use using Excel, Access, and other tools.
• Create clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation and respond to requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external DOE entities to support waste characterization and audits.
• Assist with the training and qualification of other AK Experts.
