Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished hardware/system architect to lead end-to-end development of computing system products. The role emphasizes designing complex hardware, enabling fast production cycles, and solving challenging issues with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will collaborate with software, mechanical, and supplier teams, and will manage JDMs for server product development, ensuring architectures meet performance and reliability targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10+ years of system-level development.
Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of system-level development.
PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of system-level development.
Experience with hardware designs using x86 or ARM CPUs.
Experience with high-speed design, signal integrity, and power distribution techniques.
12+ years of system-level development in server/computer/network/storage industries.
Ability to interface with software, mechanical and signal integrity teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication to diverse audiences.
Experience with High Speed Network Interfaces (10G/25G/100G/400G).
Experience PCIe Gen5/Gen6 adaptors and switches.
Experience DDR4/DDR5 DIMMs.
