Job summary

Jobtailor in New York, NY seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer for digital electronics design and board-level development. You will analyze, design, and develop, build prototypes, and create schematics and BOMs to support product realization.

You will lead technical reviews (PDR/CDR), ensure proper interfaces, and author ICDs and SRDs while collaborating across teams to deliver robust, testable systems. Strong communication and writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (BS) in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in digital electronics design.
• Strong understanding of standard engineering processes and terms such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• System Requirements Documents (SRD)
• Capability Development Documents (CDDs)
• Preliminary Design Review (PDR)
• Critical Design Review (CDR)
• Customer Acceptance
• Direct experience in circuit board design

• In-depth knowledge of high-speed digital circuits
