Job summary

Henkel is seeking a laboratory leader in Michigan to advance corrosion and physical testing programs within Adhesive Technologies. You will guide daily activities, manage projects, and coordinate with customers to set priorities.

The role requires expertise in ISO standards, ASTM/SAE review, and strong communication, data analysis, and problem solving. Experience with LIMS and MS Office is essential; on-site work in Michigan is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in science related field required.
  • 7+ years' experience in laboratory with focus in corrosion and physical testing preferred.
  • Able to articulate and negotiate with team and customers.
  • Proficient in presenting at business and technical level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Familiar with Laboratory Management System (LIMS).
  • Statistical & Quality background.
  • Proficient at reviewing ASTM, SAE methods for proper execution.

  • Maintain Quality Standards (ISO 9001, ISO 16949, ISO 17025).
  • Interface with internal/external stakeholders for growth and planning.

  • Manage inventory, housekeeping and safety for laboratories.
  • Track and highlight contributions through tours, newsletters, presentations.
  • Provide technical guidance through experience and critical thinking.

Thesalary range for this role is $90,000.00 and $100,000.00. This range represents thegood‑faith minimum and maximum wages the Company reasonably expects to offerfor this role at the time of posting.In addition to base salary, thisposition may be eligible for incentive pay or other forms of compensation, asapplicable. The Company also offers a comprehensive benefits package asdescribed above. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as thecandidate’s skills, experience, education, training, and work location. Thisposting is intended to comply with all applicable state and local paytransparency laws.
