Job summary

Wal-Mart Stores East, LP is seeking an Academy Coach in Natrona Heights, PA to lead world-class training experiences and drive associate capability and operational excellence. The role partners with facility leadership to translate classroom learning into on-the-job performance.

You will deliver instructor-led, virtual, and immersive learning using Academy Connect and VR, coach leaders, and support change management and talent development initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum Walmart associate with 18 months of Walmart operations experience as a salaried manager supervising non-exempt associates.
• Completion of Walmart Academy and job-related training programs and assessments.
• Completion of firearms-related training, certifications, and background checks when required by location.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences to build associate capability and drive operational excellence across Walmart facilities.
• Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and immersive learning experiences using Academy Connect, VR, and other innovative modalities.
• Conduct training classes per Academy schedules and support virtual instruction, overnight training, and end-of-day programs at multiple locations.
• Partner with facility leaders to identify development opportunities, support succession planning, and provide ongoing leadership feedback.
• Coach, mentor, and develop associates and leaders through feedback, recognition, and growth-focused development opportunities.
