Job summary

Walmart is seeking a salaried retail training and development leader based in Jacksonville to coordinate and oversee learning initiatives across multiple Academy locations. You will drive classroom and virtual training, mentor associates, and partner with store leadership to translate learnings into improved store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include current Walmart associate with 18 months’ experience in Walmart operations as a salaried manager supervising non-exempt associates.
• Successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training where applicable.
• State released Certificate of Eligibility when working in stores selling ammunition.
• Attainment of any required trainings and assessments such as Academy trainings and Open Door trainings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by working with store leaders to meet customer and business needs.
• Deliver training across multiple Academy locations using in-person, VR, and virtual classroom formats.
• Provide supervision, mentoring, and development opportunities for associates.
