Job summary

UPMC Stroke Institute invites applications for an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join a leading academic stroke program. The candidate will hold an appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and contribute to education, patient care, and innovative cerebrovascular research.

Applicants must complete a Vascular Neurology fellowship, be board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology, and be eligible for PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship is required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology; eligible for PA licensure.
• Interest in clinical trials, education, quality improvement, AI, or stroke systems of care encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor ACGME- and CAST-accredited fellows and neurology residents.
• Lead and participate in NIH-funded and industry-sponsored stroke trials.
• Provide clinical care within a comprehensive academic stroke program and contribute to education and program development.
