Job summary

UPMC invites applications for an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join the UPMC Stroke Institute within the Department of Neurology. The position supports clinical care, education, and research leadership in cerebrovascular medicine at an outstanding academic center in Pittsburgh.

The successful candidate will join a large team, mentor fellows, and participate in landmark trials, AI initiatives, and quality-improvement projects to advance stroke care across a major healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in vascular neurology required.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology/vascular neurology expected.
• PA licensure eligibility in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellows and CAST-accredited Neuroendovascular Fellows and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the UPMC Stroke Institute.
• Lead or participate in NIH-funded, investigator-initiated, and industry-sponsored trials.
• Advance education, innovation, and regional stroke systems of care.
