Job summary

The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC seeks an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join the UPMC Stroke Institute. The role lives at the intersection of patient care, education, and clinical trials under leaders Dr. Page B. Pennell and Dr.

Raul G. Nogueira. Appointments may be at Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, based on accomplishments. Board certification/eligibility in Neurology and Vascular Neurology is required, with PA licensure

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Eligible for unrestricted PA medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical care within a premier academic stroke program.
• Engage in high-impact clinical trials and translational research.
• Mentor and teach Fellows, residents, and students.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to advance cerebrovascular care.
