The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC invite applications for an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join the UPMC Stroke Institute in Pittsburgh. This faculty position welcomes Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor candidates with a vascular neurology fellowship and board eligibility, in a leading integrated stroke program.

Qualifications

• Completed an ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Join a large, academic stroke program in the U.S.
• Practice within a comprehensive integrated stroke system.
• Collaborate with vascular neurologists, neurointerventionalists, neurosurgeons, and researchers.
• Lead and participate in NIH-funded and industry-sponsored trials in cerebrovascular disease.
• Teach and mentor vascular neurology fellows, neuroendovascular fellows, residents, and students.
• Engage in innovation across neuroendovascular treatments, neuroimaging, AI, and regional stroke systems.
