Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC invite applications for an Academic Vascular Neurologist to join the UPMC Stroke Institute. The successful candidate will advance cerebrovascular care through patient care, education, clinical research, and innovation.

The position is at Assistant/Associate/Professor level, requires ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship, board-certification/eligibility in Neurology and Vascular Neurology, and PA licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Completed ACGME-accredited Vascular Neurology Fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology and in Vascular Neurology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Join the UPMC Stroke Institute as part of a large, integrated cerebrovascular program.
• Collaborate with vascular neurologists, interventional neurology, neuroradiology, and research staff.
• Participate in NIH-funded and industry-sponsored clinical trials shaping stroke guidelines.
• Teach and mentor fellows, residents, and visiting physicians while advancing education and research.
