Job summary

City Year is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor to support students' academic and personal growth in partnering public schools in Missouri. You'll conduct small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects, reinforce classroom instruction, and track student progress.

You'll also mentor students, lead enrichment and after-school activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive climate in a collaborative, social-justice-focused culture. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students or in education settings is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and staff.
