As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll support students’ academic and social-emotional growth in partner public schools. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide in-class tutoring, small-group instruction, and one-on-one mentoring in core subjects. You’ll track student progress, assist teachers with classroom activities, and lead enrichment or after-school programs. In City Year’s collaborative, inclusive culture, you’ll receive coaching, leadership development, and professional training while making a direct impact on student success and educational equity.
