Job summary

City Year in Missouri is seeking an Academic Tutor and Mentor who helps students stay on track in core subjects through in-class academic support, small-group tutoring, and one-on-one mentoring. You’ll also contribute to enrichment activities and a positive classroom culture, working with teachers and a diverse AmeriCorps team.

Job description

As an Academic Tutor and Mentor with City Year in the Education, Training & E-Learning department, you’ll support student success in partner public schools. Working on a diverse AmeriCorps team, you’ll provide in-class academic support, small-group tutoring, and one-on-one mentoring to help students stay on track in core subjects. You’ll also help lead enrichment activities, support positive classroom culture, and collaborate with teachers.
