Job summary

WVU Medicine is seeking a General Thoracic Surgeon for Morgantown, WV, within the West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. The successful candidate will practice in Morgantown and may travel to additional sites in WV/MD/PA as needed.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree (or foreign educational equivalent) and eligible for state medical license.
Completed general surgery residency and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship.
Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery.
All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

Teach medical students, residents, and fellows as part of an active academic program.
Provide thoracic surgical services at Morgantown, WV, with potential assignments to additional sites in WV, MD, and PA; travel may be required.
Join a renowned team within the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute and Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.

Education
