WVU Health System is seeking a General Thoracic Surgeon to join our academic division. Candidates will practice in Butler, PA, with potential duties at additional sites across West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, requiring travel as needed.

You will join internationally recognized thoracic surgeons within the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute and Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, contributing to teaching and patient care with a focus on minimally invasive lung and esophageal surgery.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completed general surgery residency and a cardiothoracic fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery.

Responsabilités

• Practice in WVU Heart and Vascular Institute and Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows and participate in rounding and conferences.
• Provide high-quality patient care, with emphasis on minimally invasive thoracic procedures.
