Job summary

WVU Medicine Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery Program seeks a General Thoracic Surgeon to join a renowned academic team in Morgantown, WV. The position involves teaching medicine students and residents, and performing advanced thoracic procedures with minimally invasive and robotic techniques.

Candidates should have an MD or DO, be board-certified or board-eligible in thoracic surgery, and complete general surgery residency and cardiothoracic fellowship.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical license.
• Completed general surgery residency and cardiothoracic fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Join a group of Thoracic surgeons as part of WVU Heart and Vascular Institute.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Provide advanced thoracic procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
